Dyson’s Supermarket has been owned and operated by the Dyson family in Numurkah since 1988. Colin and Maria Dyson started the business with a strong family dynamic, and support of the local community. Wayne, their son, joined the store in 2004 leading the way for Colin and Maria to retire in January 2005. Sharon, their daughter, joined the family business in 2008 and together, they work hard building up high standards of customer service, supplying the best quality goods and strong bonds in the local area.
Dyson’s Supermarket employs over 60 people from the local district, and supports their community the best they can. They are the major sponsors of two exciting events in town – “Show Us Ya Wheels” A static car display held on the 1st Sunday of December, and the “Numurkah Food bowl Festival” A music filled weekend in the town of Numurkah held in October each year. They also sponsor many local football, cricket and netball clubs along with many other organizations and charities in town.

How does our online shopping work?
Our Goods To Go online shopping allows you to shop in our Supermarket online. You will pay exactly the same prices in our online store as you do in our Supermarket. Our everyday low prices, catalogue specials and other promotions are all available online.Please note we do not charge to do your shop and pack your order.
As outlined above you will pay exactly the same price online as you do in store. Please be aware that some prices may vary from week to week in terms of grocery specials and fresh items that are subject to market fluctuations. Our specials run from Wednesday – Tuesday so if you place an order for collection or delivery the following week there may be a difference in the price of some items. EG. Placing your order Tuesday night for a Wednesday delivery will result in different specials. Specials that finish on a Tuesday cannot be charged at that price on Wednesday’s. Normal shelf pricing will apply.

Online orders are available for collection from 8.30am – 6pm Mon – Fri and Saturday from 8.30am – 4pm. Same day orders may be collected after midday if placed that morning before 9am. Orders placed after midday, can be collected at any time the following day.

What are the Charges?
After placing your order it is received at the store where a specially trained Dyson’s IGA ‘shopper’ selects your items and prepares them for delivery or collection. Please note we do not charge to do your shop and pack your order.

Should a product you have ordered not be available due to circumstances beyond our control you may select to have us substitute a product from your order? We will ask your preference when you checkout online and will always call you to discuss the replacement.
How do I order weighted products?
Weighted items in our meat, produce and delicatessen departments may be ordered in increments of 250 grams. You can adjust this amount by using the simple Plus and Minus – symbols which will appear under the item.
How do I pay for my order?
You can pay for your order with Mastercard or Visa online when you check out with NAB Secure Transact.
What if I pay online and my order value differs due to replacement products/weighted items?
When you check out using your credit card through the NAB Transact Secure Payment Gateway, the estimated total of your order is pre-authorised against your credit card. When the order is totalled in store the pre-authorisation is removed and the actual total charged to the card. You will receive notification via email when this has occurred. Please note we do not store any credit card details, this service is provided and guaranteed secure by the NAB.
Can I add to my order once I have checked out?
At this stage no, however please call the store directly on(03) 58 621 017 and we will do our best to assist you!
What if there is a problem with my order?
In the event that you experience any difficulty with your order, call (03) 58 621 017 within 24 hours of your delivery. Our trained, courteous and professional staff will assist you in resolving your problem. If you are unsatisfied with any of the products you receive, you may exchange the product for an on the spot credit that applies to your next order, or return the product within reasonable time to the store for a full refund. Our customer service hours are Monday through Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm. Please have your order number and register receipt handy when you call.
You only need to register once. When you complete your registration you will receive an email asking you to confirm your email address. When registering you will also need to choose a user name and password (user name is your email address)
What if I forget my password?
On the log in page you will see a forgot password link. Simply click on this and enter the email address you used when registering. You will then receive an email that details how you can reset your password.
Can I save my order/s?
Yes just select the “Save Trolley” option on the trolley total tab and your order will be saved in your ‘Saved Trolley’. You can then select and personalise these if you wish ie Week One, Holidays etc. When you next log in you can recall and select the Trolleys link, you can then add or remove products as you wish – simple!
Can I save my Favourite Products?
Yes. Simply click the favourite button under the product and it will be added to your favourite products list. To recall the products simply click on the Favourite Products link.
Liquor, Tobacco Products,Knife Products and Soda Bulbs – over 18 yrs ONLY.
Customers may purchase alcohol, tobacco products and kitchen knives from our online store but please note that when you take delivery of the goods there must be a person over the age of 18 years able to take delivery of the items Please note: In order to make a purchase of alcohol, a tobacco product or a knife it is a legal requirement that the person is aged 18 years. A person under the age of 18 years may not legally order or receive liquor, tobacco or a knife. When you receive delivery of your purchases that contain alcohol, tobacco product or a knife our representative will require identification from any person who is receiving any alcohol, tobacco products or knives and appears to be less than 25 years of age. The only forms of identification that will be accepted are Australian Drivers License, Victorian Learner Permit, Passport, Proof of Age Card or Keypass Card.

The Dyson’s IGA Rewards Program rewards our regular customers! Instead of complicated offers or ‘travel points’ you may never redeem, our offer is simple. For every dollar you spend you will receive a point automatically allocated to your card*.
Every dollar you spend earns you one point. Once you have reached 2000 points you receive in the mail a gift voucher for $25. You can either spend $25 at Dyson’s IGA Supermarket or at any of the other participating shops in Numurkah. Aged Pensioners only need 1000 points to receive the same voucher.
